Workspace settings

Workspace settings features are accessible only to users with staff or superuser privileges.
Administrators can manage overall Workspace settings through this interface.

Click the Workspace name at the top-left corner of the screen to access the dropdown menu and select the Settings button,
or click the Workspace settings button at the bottom-left corner to access the settings.


General

Manage the basic settings of the Workspace.

General settings

  • Workspace display name: Set the display name for the Workspace.
  • Timezone: Select the default timezone for the Workspace.
  • Language: Set the default display language.
  • Billing email: Enter the email address for receiving billing notifications.

Advanced settings

  • Invitation TTL: The validity period of the invitation link sent via email when inviting members. The default is 48 hours, and it can be set up to 30 days.
  • Websh session timeout: Unused Websh sessions are automatically terminated after the set time. Longer session retention times may increase billing costs. It can be set from a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of 24 hours.
  • Allowed domains: Users with emails from the specified domain can join the Workspace without an invitation.

Delete workspace

  • Click the Delete workspace button at the bottom-left to permanently delete the Workspace and all related resources.
  • If there are remaining billing days, charges may apply for until that period even after deleting the Workspace.
  • ⚠️ Once deleted, recovery is not possible, so please be cautious.

If one or more servers are connected to the Workspace, you must disconnect all Workspace integrations before deletion.

Usage

View the current resource usage and estimated costs of the Workspace.

Plan information

  • Displays the current plan information of the Workspace.
  • Shows the number of resources (members, servers) allowed under the current plan.

Change plan

  • Click the Change plan button to navigate to the payment page for changing the plan.
  • After payment, the upgraded plan is applied to the Workspace.
  • For Enterprise plan upgrades, contact support@alpacax.com.

Active resources

  • Visually displays the number of users and servers available under the current plan.
  • Shows usage status during the usage period with ratios.

Resource utilization

  • Visually displays the Websh session time and FTP file transfer volume available under the current plan.
  • Shows usafe status during the usage period with ratios.

Estimated month-to-date cost

  • Calculates the estimated monthly cost based on service usage.

Approvals

Administrators can review and approve or reject various types of requests made by Workspace members.
You can check the description of the user who made the request and the item requested for approval.

Authentication

Configure the security policies of the Workspace.
To change these settings, you must first complete additional MFA authentication.

  • MFA enforced: Additional authentication is required when users log in to the Workspace.
  • Allowed MFA methods: Methods that can be used for additional authentication in the Workspace. Multiple selections are possible.
  • MFA timeout: The time for which the authentication state is maintained after completing additional authentication. During this time, you can access features that require authentication without additional authentication.
  • MFA required actions: Additional authentication is required when executing the configured features with root privileges.

Sharing

Enhance security by setting the sharing scope of the user's home directory when using FTP features.

  • Private: Only the owner can access.
  • Group shared: Members within the group can access.
  • Public: All users can access.

Extensions

Enterprise Plan users can selectively activate Alpacon's Extensions.
Only activated features are displayed in the menu, and you can manage the display of features in this tab.

Alert rules

Configure alert rules to be applied to the server.
If collected metrics exceed the threshold of the alert rules, Alpacon will send a system alert email.

New rule

  • You can add a new alert rule.
  • Only one Default Alert Rule can be created per target.

Edit rule

  • You can edit or delete rules from the Actions menu.
  • The only default rule assigned to a specific target cannot be deleted.

Webhook

Register Slack webhook URLs to send notification events to external systems.

View webhooks

Check the name and owner information of registered webhooks.

Create webhook

  • Click the New webhook button to add a new webhook.
    • Name: Name of the webhook notification
    • URL: URL of the Slack or external receiving server to send notifications
    • Verify SSL: Whether to validate SSL certificates when using HTTPS
    • Enabled: Set whether the webhook is active

Manage webhooks

Click on a webhook card to navigate to the detailed management screen.
You can modify existing settings or deactivate and delete the webhook using the Delete button at the bottom left.
