IAM (Identity and Access Management)

Alpacon's IAM service allows administrators to centrally manage access control for resources registered in a Workspace.
With IAM, users can control who has access to which resources and configure collaboration through role-based permissions.

Key Features

IAM provides the following access control functionalities:

👤 Users

Manage individual users who have access to Workspace resources.
Each user receives permissions through assigned roles or groups.

Administrators can perform the following actions:

• Invite and register new users
• Assign roles to each user
• Activate or deactivate user accounts

👥 Groups

Manage users collectively by organizing them into groups based on shared responsibilities or access levels.
Groups make it easy to manage permissions for multiple users at once.

Available actions:

• Create and edit groups
• Configure group-level permissions
• Add or remove users from a group
