User list
After entering your Workspace
, go to IAM > Users
to access the User list view.
This page allows you to view all users registered in the workspace and perform tasks such as inviting new users.
Key features
The User list view provides the following functionalities:
View user list
You can browse the list of users currently registered in the workspace.
Each user's name, email, role, and account status (active/inactive) are displayed in a table.
▸ User privilege levels
Alpacon defines user roles in three levels:
- User: A standard user with access limited to assigned permissions
- Staff: A user with administrative privileges for selected management tasks
- Superuser: A full-access administrator with system-wide privileges
▸ User search
Use the search bar at the top of the list to quickly find users by name or email address.
▸ User filtering
Click the Filter button to apply filters such as role, status, or group to narrow down the list.
Adding users
Invite new members to the workspace to collaborate together.
This feature is available only to administrators with staff
or superuser
privileges.
Inviting users
- Click the New user button and enter the email of the member you wish to invite.
- Once the invitation is sent, a sign-up link will be emailed to the provided address.
The sign-up link allows joining the workspace and is valid for a default of 48 hours.
Invited users
- Click the link in the invitation email to proceed to the workspace sign-up page.
- If you have an existing Alpacon account, click the Sign in button to log in.
- After logging in, enter your desired username (in lowercase) on the
/invite
page and submit. - Once this process is complete, you will be registered as a member of the workspace and can start using its features.
Access user detail
Click on a user’s name or row in the list to view their User detail page.
From this page, you can view and manage the user's assigned roles, group memberships, and access privileges.
