Groups
A group bundles users who need the same server access. You assign servers to the group once and every member inherits that access, so adding a teammate is a single membership change instead of a per-server grant. Groups live under IAM > Groups.
What you can do here
- Create groups: name a group for a team, project, or role, and set the name it uses on servers.
- View and edit groups: browse every group with its member and assigned server counts, edit details, and delete groups you no longer need.
- Assign users to groups: add or remove members and give each one a group role of Owner, Manager, or Member.
- Set group permissions: assign servers to the group so members can use Websh, WebFTP, and command execution on them.
Reviewing access
Each group’s detail page has an Activity tab with a timeline of what members did, and a Roles tab listing the roles the group grants. A user who belongs to several groups accumulates the permissions of all of them, so check group membership alongside workspace roles when you review someone’s effective access.
