Download files

Download files and folders from a server to your local computer.

Download a file

  1. Open the file’s ⋮ (kebab) menu in WebFTP
  2. Click Download
  3. The file saves to your browser’s download folder

Multiple items and folders

Select multiple items to download them together. Folders are downloaded as a compressed archive—the transfer status panel shows a Compressing step before the download begins.

Note: Symbolic links can’t be downloaded directly; open the link’s target instead.

Transfer status

The transfer status panel shows progress per item and lets you cancel an in-progress download.
