Invite team members

Invite team members to your workspace to collaborate on server management.

Invitation methods

Invite by email

  1. Click Users in the left sidebar
  2. Click New user button in the top right
  3. Enter information:
    • Email address: Invitee’s email
  4. Click Send invitation

An invitation email is sent, and the recipient can join via the link.

Invitation validity

Expired invitation links cannot be accessed.

  • Default validity: 48 hours
  • Maximum validity: 30 days
  • Change validity: Workspace settings > General > Invitation TTL

Domain-based auto-join

On Essential plan or higher, allow users with specific email domains to join without invitation.

Configure allowed domains

  1. Go to Workspace settings > General tab
  2. Find Allowed domains in Advanced settings
  3. Enter domain (e.g., company.com)
  4. Save

Users with the configured domain email can:

  • Join directly from the workspace list
  • Access without invitation

Check invitation status

Manage invitations and check status:

  1. Go to Users page
  2. Select All invitations tab
  3. Check invitation status:
    • Pending: Not yet accepted
    • Expired: Validity period exceeded

Resend invitation

Resend expired invitations:

  1. Click Actions > Airplane icon for the invitation
  2. New invitation email is sent

Cancel invitation

Cancel invitations that haven’t been accepted:

  1. Click Actions > Trash icon for the invitation to cancel
  2. Confirm

Check your workspace’s member limit in Workspace settings > Usage.

Permission settings

Set user permissions during invitation or after joining:

  • Regular user: Access only assigned servers
  • Staff: Partial access to workspace settings
  • Superuser: Full permissions

FAQ

Q: Didn’t receive the invitation email. A: Check spam folder or ask admin to resend invitation.

Q: Can I invite multiple people at once? A: Currently, you can only invite one person at a time.

Q: Can I invite users with external email domains? A: Yes. Email invitation works with any domain.
