alpacon agent restart

This command restarts the Alpamon agent process on a specified server. By default it asks for confirmation before proceeding. If the server has active user work (an open Websh or WebFTP session, or an in-flight command), the restart is refused unless you pass --force.

bash
alpacon agent restart SERVER [flags]

Options

bash
  -y, --yes Skip confirmation prompt
--force Override the busy guard even when the server has active user work
  -h, --help help for restart

Examples

Restart a server’s agent by name:

bash
alpacon agent restart my-server

Skip the confirmation prompt—required for a non-interactive run, such as a script or CI job:

bash
alpacon agent restart my-server -y

Restart even when the server has active user work:

bash
alpacon agent restart my-server --force

Exit codes

Exit code 5 means the server has active user work; pass --force to override it, or wait until the work finishes.
