Server detail view guide
From the Servers list, click a specific server to open its Detail View.
This page allows you to monitor the server, manage settings, and perform various control operations.
Key features
The Server Detail View provides the following core functionalities:
- Update server settings
- Control server and agent
- Delete server
Additionally, the following tabs are available for viewing detailed server information:
Tab overview
There are 6 main tabs available in the Server Detail View.
Overview tab
Displays general information and resource status of the connected server.
Information provided
- Agent Information: Details of the installed Alpamon agent (version and status)
- OS Information: Operating system and distribution
- System Information: Hardware specs including CPU, memory, disk
- Operating Information: Uptime, boot time, and runtime status
Additional sections
- System Packages: List of installed packages on the server
- Network Interfaces: Overview of active network interfaces
Activity tab
View command history and manage comments related to the selected server.
Comments
Used to leave notes or shared messages related to the server.
Comments are visible to all users who have access to the server.
Specific users can be mentioned.
- Add: Enter text in the input area and click Add
- Edit: Click an existing comment and select Edit
- Delete: Click an existing comment and select Bin
- Pin/Unpin: Click the pin icon during creation or on the left of the comment (up to 3 pins allowed)
Command history
Displays a chronological list of commands executed on the server by users.
Access tab
Displays access history of the server by users and groups.
- System Users: Access logs grouped by individual users
- System Groups: Access logs grouped by user groups
Monitoring tab
View monitoring data collected from the server in chart format.
Logs can be browsed by timestamp or categorized for easier analysis.
Available data types:
- CPU usage: Overall CPU utilization
- Memory usage: System memory utilization
- Disk usage: Available per partition
- Disk I/O (paid plan): Peak/AVG and per disk
- Network traffic (paid plan): Peak/AVG, bps/pps, per interface
Alert rules tab
Assign rules to monitor server metrics and send alert notifications based on specific conditions.
You can select and apply predefined rules from Workspace settings to this server.
Logs tab
View log data collected from the server.
Recent logs
Displays logs generated by the Alpamon agent connected to this server.
Recent backhauls
Displays the history of data transmitted from the server to the central system.
You can check the status, transmission time, data size, and more for each backhaul operation.
